Kalaparee is a single estate, family owned and operated Olive Grove situated on the Sunraysia Highway between the Central Victorian towns of St Arnaud and the Stuart Mill.

Derived from the aboriginal term for 'an earthly paradise' and long recognized for its outstanding locally produced red wines, the climate and unique soils of this region are now producing Extra Virgin Olive Oils of remarkable quality and character.
 


GROVE

Planted in 2001, over 4000 trees of mainly Tuscan variety, including Frantoio, Leccino and Pendolino are harvested annually and processed on site at the Kalaparee Olive Press. Table olives are also processed on site and include Greek Style black Kalamata and Spanish Style Green Olives.

Irrigation is fully automated and computerized and the trees are watered from a large 150 megalitre dam with a massive catchment from the pristine Box Ironbark forest of the surrounding St Arnaud Range National Park.

The state of the art Enorossi 2 phase processing plant ensures the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oils of extremely high quality. All Oils are subjected to independent analysis by the NSW Department of Primary Industries at the Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute and these results consistently place Kalaparee Oils at the Ultra Premium end of the IOOC classification of Extra Virgin Olive Oils in terms of Free Fatty Acid, Polyphenol and Peroxide levels.

Kalaparee has its own retail outlet at South Melbourne Market where the entire range of Kalaparee Olive Oils, Olives, Vinegars and associated products are available for tasting and sale. Also available are Osborne Olives range of Tapenades, Bellellen Grampians Organics Herbs and the Mornington Peninsula's Aromatics range of Spices as well as the exquisite range of hand made Olive related ceramics by leading Victorian potter Andrew Cope.

The shop is also the main point of contact and supply to an increasing list of high profile Melbourne Hotels and Restaurants.

Kalaparee Olive Oils can also be found in leading Deli's across Melbourne and in many centres throughout Victoria.
